right its been a lomng time comeing but ive finally sold my polo and finally got my self a landrover!
so heres a few photos off my new toy
Discovery series 2 TD5

day i got it.....


then once i had finshed work that day i went to play....

a few hours later!......


it pritty much stays looking like this!


went to devils pit with a few friends


have to clean the lights,number plate and windows for the drive home,i ordered some new rear indicater lights once i got home!


ive taken the side steps,rear tow bar and front bumper off cus keeped on scupping them off road!!
got few new parts coming like wheels/tyres and heavy dutty bumpers and rock sliders!
this thing is a beast and lovely to drive and no need to worry about potholes anymore lol!

little update.....

i broke a front wheel hub!!!
had to take off disks,driveshaft,hub,etc,etc


while i worked i/you sit on the floor while all 3 wheels were on there floor.......couldnt do that with a vw!

ohhh a nice shinny new part in the form off a wheel hub

a few hours and few hundared quid later is was fixed and ready for testing!!




i also give it the timmy touch......stickers!!!!!!

im not,just outa shoot is me mate telling me what to do!......but i did and do love working on it and it about time i learnt how to fix things i brake!!

Cheers chaps im still shocked i worked on me own car and keep patting me self on me back!

Can't wait for me off road tyres to come cus then the real play time in the mud will begin and time to see what this beast can really do!!

quick update.....its broken and has been for few months now!!

it will be back bigger meaner higher and wider than before,i but dont know when that will be,but mark my words it will back!

front hub was easy damit,this is me we talking about!!!

now theres a phatom bolt that needs fixing and the only way to get to it is buy removing the front axle! its buy/behind the front wheel hub assembly and its in a bloddy tight spot hence why axle has to come off!
the bolt in question needs replacing and they say its best to do all four at the same time,there one in each corner so back axle needs to come off two!!!!

yay the truck is back on the road,got me new steel wheels,in gloss black and tyres,245/70/16,try steaching them onto ya vws!!!!!!!!

it will be at ed38 all waxed and possished in mud!

Oh the looks we got driving around the ed38 camp site in a muddy real 4x4 no Chelsea tractor!!!

Anyways Quick up date I've broken/smashed my front diff apart it is getting fixed but after two months off it sitting idle in my garage,but while it was broke I did buy some roof lights and light bar so come night time I can turn night time into day time with my new roof lights!!!!!!!!!!
