Rear 9j

Rear 9j ET 38
Rear 9j ET 38

Front 8j

Front 8j ET 38
Front 8j ET38

Banded Steels

As you can see the rears need some work to make them fit. Im thinking 195 tyre with a few degrees of camber, fronts sit fine. Pics were taken with both corners jacked up so a little natural camber of them on the floor should help aswell.

Anyone know where i can stretch a tyre on? None of my mates will do it for me

my mate Ben will do it for beer tokens. ill text him today at some point when hes awake and see if he can sort you out. hes a mobile tyre fitter so can probably come to you aswell.

do you need him to supply the tyres too?

Cheers dan!

Little update from today, there was some surface rust going on in the boot so I put an end to that.

its a steep learning curve!

loads of pics here.

decided to spray one of my banded steels but actually do a half decent job and not just chuck a load of paint on and get impatient and then ruin it all.

heres the wheel after a clean

DSC_0152

Had some flaky paint

DSC_0153
DSC_0154

hit it with some grade 40

DSC_0156
DSC_0155

Then some 120

DSC_0157DSC_0158

Then 600

DSC_0159
DSC_0160

Then gave it a wash and a wipe down
DSC_0167

Primed
DSC_0171

Wetsanded with 1200

DSC_0172
DSC_0173

then added some colour played it safe because im not 100 percent sure if im going to keep the wheels.

DSC_0174
DSC_0175

thats just after i sprayed it, as you can see there is some lines from the flaky paint probably shouldnt have gone from 120 to 600 but its not that noticeable.

Tomorrow im gonna wetsand and add some clear.

love this thing i got off ebay, no more achy finger

i was RIGHT THERE WITH YOU TILL YOU PAINTED THEM SILVER

and said you may not keep them....................................................................................

to quote Point Break Break 'you cant just call time out and walk into the beach dude'

make it work xxxx

and you should have sanded to 600 and used filler primer

thats pretty good price dude , any cheaper and they either be part worn or silly soft and last amonth

bear in mind that includes getting the fookers on there too

and for that sort of stretch you want new rubber , the biggest issue with mine was getting them to seal

ddooooo it doooooit
