After getting some decent pictures today i thought it was about time i posted up a thread to show the progress of my lupo , Now i don't have any before pictures so the thread will start from where im up to know and my plans for the future ( When money allows) .

Its a 2000 VW Lupo 1.0E in Black .
Has TA Technix , Rear adjusters removed
Black badges ( Common i know but i like it)
Joey Mod Headlights
HEKO Wind deflectors
Various Stickers
Aluline Cups 15x7 wrapped in 175/50s
Kenwood head unit
Kicker components ( yet to be fitted)
Rear seats removed for Le Mans but not really bothering fitting them again

More work would of been done by now like the bodywork but have had to do some mechanical work to get it running better , More mechanical work will be carried out within the next couple of months before my trip to Belgium in october.

Plans for the future :
Lower
Wheel refurb
Air brushing
Full respray
Interior retrim
Subtle audio install
Full electrics including remote central locking and alarm

Anyway to the pictures so ill stop waffling on

Thanks for looking , Comments welcome
Greg

Looking good, love what you can do with a black car and it really suits the lupo.

Im getting into the detailing scene and trying out different products to see what works well with my lupo , Currently using Poorboys Blackhole and Nattys Blue Paste Wax , But have Poorboys SSR2.5 to use to try and get rid of the majority of swirls and light scratches

Shampoo wise I usually use megs gold class, really nice sudsy shampoo, smells awesome and leaves your paint nice and smooth.
I use bilt hamber clay and lube about once every 6 months to make sure road tar and tree sap dont mess up my paint work.

as far as polishes and compounds go...mainly poorboys world, Ive got super swirl removers going up in grades, Black hole glaze for when i cant be bothered with the hassle of prepping it.
but also use super resin polish for when im feeling super lazy.
Ive just purchased som 'schol' compound though as its designed to combat hard german paint and cut through orange peel.
the pads i use are either mags pads or cool foam pads depending on what grade cutting compound i use.

megs quick detailer/window cleaning/tyre gel stuff as its fairly cheap and i live round the corner from halfrauds that have just decided to start stocking 90% of the range. and its all 3 for 2 pretty much all the time.

Ive also got a polishing kit that i bought from megs direct that is designed to polished, unlaquered wheels and had my fist play with it yesterday, the results are mind blowing and its much easier to do than by hand.

the best thing to do mate is to come round and have a look because i literaly buy new cleaning products every month just to try them out, so ive got loads of stuff that just sits about doing nothing because i either dont like it or it hasnt been what ive been looking for.

waxes wise i usaully use zymol concours but ive just run out and its quite pricey compared to what i usually use so im currently using AGHD wax and poorboys nattys blue which is a really good wax for black cars..

gimme a ring mate on 07974680156 if you fancy popping over and having a butchers, ive got no problem sorting you some sample pots of waxes/compounds/glazes

its all good Razz

its kinda difficult to say without seeing pictures mate.

the SSR range is quite a light compared to other cutting compounds and Its really meant to be used with a DA or Rotary. if you come to the meet in august i can bring some bits along and see what we can do about the swirls etc.
but you could be using a dirty microfibre? or might have working in dirt thats been sat on the paint work.

did you wash and clay the area that you polished before trying the SSR? as you might of accidently just machined in loads of dirt Sad
