PostSubject: My 9N   Tue Apr 06 2010, 15:15

Hi All,

Thought it was about time I put some pics up of my car, had it for a year now, still loving it, and it still makes me smile, PD130 in a little Polo, surprises some people.

The day I got it;

Stayed that way for a few months' then a brand new votex kit came up for sale at a unmissable price, so that was purchased and sat in my room until my next pay day, then I had that sprayed and fitted, which transformed the car;

I when then on the hunt for some new wheels, and despite being quite a common wheel for the 9n, I simply just had to have some TT Comps, found some on ebay and got the set of 4 for 80 but they were in a sorry state, but as I was going to polish them i didnt mind that much.

Again they didn't sit around very long until I had them refurbed and polished b y Pureklas (Dav Dulai - who I cannot fault, very nice guy and very good at what he does)

The plan was to leave the wheels off until I had lowered the car, but the kid in me couldn't wait so I got some 204/40/17 Falken's and then it looked like this;

Which I was happy with, but it simply had to be lowered, so I got some 50mm springs;

and another shot for whoring the wheels!!

and that is as far as I have got at the moment, it's time to get the cambelt / water pump done and get the MOT, but I want to remap in the near future.

Comments welcome.

Awesome.. esp in the "rare" 130 form... so with a cheeky re-map should see 150+ and about a bazillion ft/lb of torques...

Depends on who you ask, Jabbasport quote - 165-172bhp / 290-295 lbs/ft based on the clutch, seeing as its just passed 40k im guessing the clutch will be fine for a bit !

Could be a bit if a sleeper!

Don't think we have although I should be at the next meet, and have probably seen you before.

So been quiet on here recently, however just had the car re-mapped. Not had it rolling road'd yet but guessing around 165-170bhp!!

Back on the BBS montreals for the time being too. TT comps are long gone, and missed.
