hey any help here would be good. i ordered a boost gauge today and just wanted to know if fitting it would be the same as the one i fitted in my rover coupe..???

well what was it like in your Evil or Very Mad Rover Evil or Very Mad

normaly quite easy pal, hardest part is deciding ware 2 put it!

cut the vacum hose on top of the dump valve put a 'T' bit in and plugged it in and away i went. but dunno if it is the same on this car.?? and it was a TomKat fast but likes to pull ya to the curb..!!!

Oh and i've also ordered a pillar pod.

yea there all pretty much the same, i gta light on mine so had 2 wire it up aswell, dimmer Wink

U dont need to cut any pipe or t piece it, theres a pipe on the inlet with a nipple on it blocked off ready for a boost guage...pretty sure thats where james put his! Gimme shout and ill show you

I drove a mate's 300bhp Tomcat once, was a lot of fun but I know what you mean about the curb - could be a handful Very Happy

I don't think you will have a capped boost from the inlet. Your lump is very similar to mine, I would recommend that you put a t-piece into the pipe to the fuel pressure regulator as it is simple and easy to locate.

There is a picture showing the routing of pipes, 14 is the FPR and it connects straight to the inlet manifold for it's vacuum source.

Removing N249 Valve From a 20vT
